Re: An English summer barn wedding

I photographed weddings for years & did my own processing. You have a real talent for composition, causing the viewer to be drawn to a central area of interest. I particularly love the photo of the bride looking into the compact mirror, showing only the eye in sharp focus. It's captivating. Well done!!!

Re: An English summer barn wedding

Hi RH, and welcome to Yop.

These images are fantastic, and you have really captured the spirit of the day incredibly well.

I've studied this type of wedding photography for a while now too, following some of the photographers you mentioned in another thread, and I think you've got this technique right on the money.

There are maybe one or two I wouldn't have posted in this thread, simply because they don't stand up against the others, and slightly take away from the set....(or maybe they make the better ones stand out more)
but overall, a wonderful set that I'm sure the happy couple were delighted with.

I also think there are one or two people out there who should maybe stop, and take a good look at what a REAL wedding photographer can produce, before charging hundreds of pounds for sub-standard photographs, on what is supposed to be the best day of the couple's lives.

That really gets my goat!
