how many pixels do you have on your camera?

if you shot in jpeg on fine mode how many pictures do you get?

12MP, I think jpeg fine gives around 500 on a 4GB card.

depends also on image size

10 meg pix on my camera large fine gives about 670 images (4 gig card)
medium fine 1100
small fine 2200

Again, based on a 4GB CF Card

12MP Large ( Aspect ratio 3:2 )
Raw = 203 images
JPEG Fine = 682 images
JPEG Standard = 1001 images

10MP Large ( Aspect ratio 16:9 )
Raw = 203 images
JPEG Fine = 788 images
JPEG Standard = 1142 images

I can go right down to 2.6mp...but I can't shoot in RAW mode at this level.

2.6MP Small ( Aspect ratio 16:9 )
Raw & JPEG = 184
JPEG Fine = 1972
JPEG Standard = 2547
