Help!!!!!

Is there anyone in the Stourport area of Worcestershire that could help me learn more about photography and using my camera. I can't find my manual (I did have it somewhere and probably still do) and learn far better with hands on teaching rather than just reading.
Please pretty please!!

Re: Help!!!!!

I was going to suggest try finding online, I know you can find the Nikon ones online. http://www.canon.co.uk/Support/User_Manuals/

Canon also have online tutorials and workshops http://www.learn.usa.canon.com/home/home.shtml

A great book to hold of is... Understanding Exposure, 3rd Edition: How to Shoot Great Photographs with Any Camera by Bryan Peterson

I really do recommend the book, and if I lived closer I'd gladly lend you mine, and help you out

Don't be shy about asking questions on here either x

Re: Help!!!!!

Hi Becky, I'd say it depends on your club whether they can help you or not. Some do workshops for beginners but in the main they tend to attract people who are a little further down the road. I'd suggest that one of the best places to look are you local schools. They often do courses for those new to digital photography, how to work your camera etc. These often begin in September at night schools and tend to be friendly and everyone at a similar level there for the same purpose. Alternatively, there are a few schools andcommunity centres that run these for a few days in the summer holidays... I'd log on to your local education authority website, community programmes, 'what to do in the summer' type sites...

Re: Help!!!!!

I'm going to give them a ring as their programme includes practical evenings so hopefully I can start learning somewhat more about photography and my camera lol!!
I will also look into the book suggested too as that was going to be another question!!
