Re: Last of the Summer berries

It might be the colour profile settings? But yeah I have noticed that too, it seems to be worse on some systems than others! Where when you go to save for web, the colours are noticably different. If you find what's causing it let us know!

Great pic!

Re: Last of the Summer berries

Nice shot K! What focal length were you using (only the bokeh at the bottom is a little distracting).

I know what you mean about the colour - it also depends on what monitor you use. I had one shot that when viewed on my monitor showed up fine, but on another the dark brown eyes looked more black and ruined the look of the subject

Re: Last of the Summer berries

It was shot at 46mm with an aperture of F/5.3. Its a HDR thats whats caused that mottling type effect at the bottom - i cant get rid of it

Re: Last of the Summer berries

Ah ok, I assumed that particular foliage was closer to the section you were photographing and hence the awkward bokeh.

I wonder if we could indicate in our titles if a certain procedure has been applied or else put all pictures that have been HDR'd/tone mapped into the altered states section? Alternatively we could kick Azz up the bum to get these icons sorted

Do you have the original picture for comparison?
