My pics of Finlaystone Country Park

My friend, Dejavu, took me to Finlaystone Country Park and I took these pics, I took them all handheld on landscape mode on my camera; he also kindly editted them for me as I am very much a novice at these things! So thank you DJV

Re: My pics of Finlaystone Country Park

Hiya

Nice pics - Landscape mode is a 'pre-set' and as I'm sure you know (from DJ) there's a whole wealth of further things to explore.

There's certainly some great colours there. Look forward to seeing more.

It's also good to see pictures of people actually taking the pictures we then get to share. I hope that makes sense.

PS

Have you done anymore of Loki ?

Many thanks Phil for your comments - I am still learning! I find the Canon 400D easier to both use and hold! DJ is a big help and one day I will understand all the workings of the camera

Aw Loki was out with friends yesterday and she had a great time - slept all night when she came home! The field where she normally goes to, has not long been cut and has had cows in it! So that has kind of stopped her getting into it! I will get more piccies soon of her and post them Thank you for asking Hope Breagh and all are hail and hearty

Many thanks Clairelou - I am still very much a novice at taking pictures but I enjoy it! It is a lovely place to go to, not all that far away from where I stay, just down the motorway about 20 mins or so. The colours of the trees were really beautiful. A great place for families and there were many there yesterday! The waterfalls were lovely, especially the bigger falls, which fell from the loch above it. Many thanks for your comments

Aw thank you Greyhawk. I love waterfalls and that one was really lovely falling down from the loch above. It is a lovely place to go and see, round every corner is different and lovely views from the other side of the park, right over the River Clyde!

Many thanks Carole - you should try and go it is a lovely place. Lovely when the sun shines but I enjoyed it yesterday. It isn't all that far away from Glasgow and is near enough a straight road on the motorway! I am sure you would enjoy it.

Aw many thanks Azz - I am still very much a "learner"!! I just love taking pics I couldn't do what DJV does - going down the slopes and all! I am frightened I fall on them!

Many thanks for your kind comments

Re: My pics of Finlaystone Country Park

Like the waterfall shots very much - I might nip to the white water rafting centre to see if I can get some shots like that
