Buy a lens that will work on FX and it will work on DX, so not being funny Bazza but your post isn't really relevant.

Absolutely! In fact, an FX lens can work even better on a DX camera, depending on what you're shooting!

I have both a FX and DX body, and all my lenses work on both. The FX body has an auto DX feature if a DX lens is attached.
