Thanks Azz, the wolf shots were taken through a glass screen which wasn't exactly that clear, really lowered the contrast, had to play around with them on comp, got them as best as I could!

I like what you did with them in the mono thread - and I think that softness actually works well for wolves.

When did you take these.. is it still summer where you are

Number 11 for me mate, cracker that. Good pose and not obviously in captivity, the key to a zoo shot.

I don't think it's the key to a good zoo shot showing that it's not in captivity... I am a big fan of the work of Britta Jaschinski - she had published a book called 'Zoo' and it's very interesting - really some excellent work in there, and all of them show the animals in their surroundings.
