Lochan Uaine - The Green Loch

Just a few photos from my day out on Monday. We took a trip up to Glenmore Forest but did not get many photos as the weather took a turn for the worse

Managed a few of the Green Loch before the weather got really bad.

The midgies don't bite me for some reason

Did you stay at Glenmore? My lot are desperate to stay there but I think I prefer a house in Aviemore

Yes. I camped with my eldest daughter at Glenmore. We were going to go wild camping but it was her first time so we used the campsite.

I'll dig some pictures out over the coming days but they're not the best.

Will look forward to the pics

The campsite looks really good, its just the lack of electricity that puts me off

Try the one just as you come into Aviemore then. It's the first building you come to as you hit the little roundabout by the bridge that heads to Glenmore.

It's called 'High Range' and has everything you could wish for. It even has it's own Italian bistro, bar, washing, drying, ironing, electricity even for tent pitches, private showers and toilets via swipe card, playground, It's really camping for non-campers.

Re: Lochan Uaine - The Green Loch

Sounds good Glenmore would be good for an overnight stay but longer the other one in Aviemore would be better.
