If I see a "Kodak Moment", that perfect barn, ranch house or field I generally try & ride to the owners house and ask for permission. Most are tickled to let you capture their home & livelihood. In fact I've had a few escort me out there and talk up the history of the site. If I get a "keeper" I'll make sure they get a print. If you decide to get permission get their e-mail or snail mail address so you can send them a thank you and/or a print.
