TY - i did actually see those on my hunt trough the land of "Bay" but im not sure that it would arrive in time from HK. (Saturday)

You could try getting an extension lead for the flash then turn it round away from the subject to face into a diffusing brolly (you could even make one of these yourself out of paper or card). And diametrically opposite the brolly on the other side of the subject have a big piece of white card or polystyrene insulating sheet to give some soft fill in on the opposite side.

Hi K, yes that would work fine too. It may give a slightly different, warmer colour cast compared to an off the shelf reflector but if you don't have Photoshop you could always adjust your camera settings to suit.
If you intend to do a fair bit of portrait work you can buy slave flashes quite cheaply - they are triggered by your regular camera flash going off. Portaflash do home studio kits which are quite cheap and come with reflectors and stands etc. I have one myself from my earlier days and it served me well for thousands of shots photographing wallpapers (don't ask!).
