Yeah, I think it's better than the first one.

Why not try to get more distance between the person and the background and then zoom right in (so you need to step further away too). That should give you a nice blurry background

thats what I would normally do lol but I had to take this quick so as to avoid the mad face! lol thats why I tryed to blur the background with PS.
