Thanks folks.

I genuinely prefer them black and white, but then I do like black and white photography, especially human and human like animals, dont know why. I appreciate all of the comments. Here is one of them as I took it.

Canon EOS 7D
Canon EF 28-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS USM
Canon 100-400mm L IS USM.
Canon EF 50mm f/2.5 macro
Sigma 70-200mm f/2.8 APO EX DG MACRO HSM II.

Fantastic shots Dawn!

I think they could work well in either colour or mono, as always it would depend on the shot. On the one's you posted, I think the first one is nicer in colour as you get so much more 'feeling' from it, esp the eyes

I really like these, especially the Chimp shots. I prefer them in Mono but that is purely down to personal preference

Have to say loving them both, but for some reason I do like mono shots at times.

Defo the mono foe me

Maybe a contrast boost to bring out the blacks a little though?
