Lovely shots Phil,
The first reminds me of a photo I took of one of our black cats staring out of a window at a fledgling just inches away.
The butterfly pics are wonderful. There some thing I want to try, but never have got around to.

Thanks for the comments on the butterfly pics.
I don't have a macro lens - but I find with a bog standard kit lens you can get decent results providing the light is good, there's no wind & you can get within a couple of feet.
