Re: Yogi in the snow

It frustrates me to have folks smearing honey on folks when the truth is so very evident that there can be simple improvements made.

Re: Yogi in the snow

It's not about what's wrong with the pic, it's about editing it - some people just don't like their pics being touched, so we have to respect that. You can still critique a photo if you like, so long as you follow the guidelines.

Re: Yogi in the snow

I for one am not upset at all. I thought this forum was all about learning photography. As I said in the beginning of my original post I think your photos are great. I was just trying to help. As they say, "a photo is worth a thousand words". That's why I presented a before and after example.

Re: Yogi in the snow

This forum is about helping others - but if somone doesn't have the 'edit ok' icon showing in their profile/post we must assume they do not want their photos edited.

I know you're just trying to help Bob (heck, I've done the same myself in the past!) but we have to respect other people's photographs and their right not to want them being edited in anyway. So if they don't have the edit ok icon, then we don't edit their pics - unless they've said it's ok in that thread.

Sorry to go off-topic in your thread Sue! Back on-topic now please
