More or less yes.

12 inches is 304mm

It doesn't really matter what the units are though. Just the ratio between one saide and another.

10 x 15 is the same a 2 X 3

1 inch = 2.54 cm

so 10x15 = 4" x 6" (approx)

Just stick to the normal ratios of

1.5 (6x4, 9x6, 12x8)

1.4 (7x5)

1.25 (10x8)

or square (1.0)

Try foto.com, they do most sizes.
