I lived in the country all my life and always saw pheasants roost in trees at night. But then the pheasants seemed to disappear...except for the farms that raised them and planted them in fields for hunters...a bad business to me. A few escaped and liked our house to get fresh water to drink in the winter...we had to run a sump pump to get water out of the basement...a spring was in the corner of the basement so fresh water was always out there for the birds. The spring was cemented over several times but then cracked open again so let it alone, did no harm, really. Good shot of the bird in a tree. Shirley
