I like that, good composition

As for the softness, have you tried a high pass filter sharpen? As you are converting to mono can get away with over sharpening compared to a colour shot.

I looked at the original bw image and it is a little soft. I have a sharper original but was a bit over-exposed, not sure why it looked ok on camera but was a change of lens so need to sort that out. The green was there but saturation is tweeaked up of course.

Stanokella, re composition do you mean the first or second shot? I like the first but this and a similar post had some requests for me to post a fuller length picture which I'm not so keen on.

I meant the 1st, the 2nd would need a little more of the stone work in around the door for my taste.
