I think the appeal of this image is the pattern.
When I go out shooting, sometimes rather than trying to get a whole object in I will zoom in and use the pattern (and texture) within. For example, instead of photographing a building, I might photograph the door close up (for the wood grain) or just a few bricks, or the slats on the floor etc.
I think this image is the same, its the (random in this case) pattern that makes the shot interesting to look in (in my opinion lol)
