'Vorsprung durch Technik'
My old TT, had it for some years now and have always loved the shape and interior design of this car ever since it first came out in 1999.

I actually quite like it - would make a nice desktop background
Have a butchers at Rawkers tip here about shooting high and low - think it works well with cars. (Check out some of his car shoots too they're pretty neat as well - tho more of a grungy style, but would work equally well with your TT).

I prefer #2 and I am chuffed that I picked the water droplets fuel filler shot as being a TT without noticing your username

Great images. Can I ask more about your lighting? Did you use a softbox or anything or just the bare speedlight?

I used two bare Canon 580EX flashes, one setup on my tripod on the grass verge at about waist height and pointing toward the rear of the car, this flash was set as slave. The other flash was mounted on the camera and set to master.

When I first saw these I thought they had been photoshopped extensively but I don't think they have, or at least only a bit maybe to darken the sky or so. I find the first one a bit more impactive and the lighting is nicely balanced and has a lovely feel to it.
I guess when it comes to this sort of thing we are exposed to car ads which are airbrushed to hell. I was a bit distracted by the 'splodges' on the road tarmac and yellow flowers or whatever reflected in the car, which the ad folks tend to clean up a bit. I guess we get used to the artificial world of advertising be it airbrushed cars or airbrushed women. I'd be well pleased with these pics though and I am left wondering if I can make my 1973 Trabant look as good so I can sell it and buy the delux model with 45bhp and a cigar lighter
