Photographing puppies

I have been trying to take a few indoor photos of our puppy Border Terrier this evening whilst she was playing with a bit of paper. There is me lying flat out on the floor camera at the ready and GRRRR , a new game for the puppy to play. The game is "lets look at the lens close up and leave a nose mark", then while "dad" is lens cleaning go and have a tug at the trouser legs or pull the pullover sleeves.

If anyone can master how to take a photograph, lying flat on the floor, of a puppy playing without being "got at" is a damn good photographer.

Re: Photographing puppies

Steve this puppy is just over 7 weeks old so getting it to sit like that isn't really on just yet, and retrievers are easy to train.

He was short changed then, should have only paid half the price for a smaller dog. ha ha

Re: Photographing puppies

Wish someone had told Meg, retrievers are easy to train

Bazza I still have problems photographing Mack, he has always headed straight for the camera, as soon as I crouch down.

All these puppies are making me so broody for another one

Bazza
They probably weigh more than many Retrievers.

Come on now Bazza, with the super duper Nikon, and a pup not weighing more than what 4/5lb? it should be terribly easy to get some decent shots, get it sorted and post the pics!!
