Thanks both, I know rule of thumb is shoot lower, but these chaps are still very timid, any shot was a lucky one. They will get more confident Im sure.

No - I like the angle a lot - but I think it may benefit from just being a head crop (And part of the neck) - just to crop the log out, and also cloning out that red splotch! 
But then, I'm fussy - it works well anyway.
