Thanks folks.
I did a few but I've not been through them all yet.
I'm going to have another try as my pre focus on most of them was rubbish.
Also I didn't use the right lens. It was dull in the kitchen so in hindsight if I'd used the wide aperture of the 50mm 1:8 - I could have used much faster shutter speeds although the resulting shallow dof would pose a challenge.
