Short Clawed Otter

Took some otter shots, and have never got round to posting them. Anyway here is one I could watch otters for hours,
Not the best pictures as the sun was so bright, but I just love his expression

Like that Moonie! You know, I don't think I've ever seen an otter in real life!

Re: Short Clawed Otter

I haven't either for years in the wild this guy and his two brothers live in an animal centre near me, I often take the kids there to watch them. They are great and very noisy

Re: Short Clawed Otter

My pics haven't done him justice, he is very cute

They are so playful, and they are great to watch, and take pics of, I have quite a large collection of otter shots now, none of them brilliant. Maybe one day

Re: Short Clawed Otter

Was about to say how much I enjoyed your shots of this lovely animal when I realized they had been taken by Suzi and not Dawn. Not your normal sort of shot Suzi but they are lovely never the less and when it comes to animal shots I am sure you would not mind being mistaken for Dawn, I know I would not.

OK, so a little burn out, but is forgivable and the expression is clear and sharp, sometimes you have to take the shot and hope, here your effort was well worth it.

Re: Short Clawed Otter

Zoundz thank you, and how lucky are you to have a wild one to watch!

Snaps you have made my day! Thinking they were Dawn animal shots It was very bright sunlight, so I suppose they aren't that bad really. I know it isn't my normal thing, I tend to take animal shots and never show them, as compared to most of you on here, my wildlife shots aren't that good,I take them for me but I shared these as they are just so cute
