Re: Bonfire Night

Excellent captures JR, my favourites are 5,6,7,10 & 12. I was planning on going to a big display last night but it was raining and quite foggy as well, so, I just turned back and headed back home. Pity, as they had live music from an Abba tribute band there as well, might have got a few images of them while waiting for the fireworks. There was an even larger display held in Glasgow this evening as it was cancelled yesterday because of Celtic and Man u. I travelled to it but the traffic was chaos, with roads closed and diversions, so by the time I arrived and found a place to park, I only had minutes to set up for the big display. It was very difficult as the streets were crowded with people waiting for the display. I found a space near where other image takers were setting up and managed to get a couple of pics and no thanks to the guy behind me who kept spoiling my exposures by using his flash. Next time I go to a display as big as that one I will have to get there much earlier and find a suitable place for taking pics.
