A wedding in 3 hours....
I'm usually at a wedding for 10-12 hours and that offers me plenty of time to catch the moments I'm after. Last weekend was a very short one, and one that meant I had no bridal prep, speeches, dances and so on to get those moment.
It was also a blindingly hot and bright day. Even at f2.8 and ISO200 I was running into shutter speeds of 1/8000s. It meant being very careful where I shot people and it really tested the D3's dynamic range.
Anyhow, a flavour of the day:

You may of only had three hours, but you have captured the wedding beautifully.
Another stunning set of shots.
I really like the ones of the bride and groom in the garden with the little bridesmaids following , they are wonderful.

Shooting RAW and knowing when the metering would struggle (not that often with the D3, to be fair). I switched to spot when needed (I have the func button set to spot so I don't have to move the camera away from my eye).

Oh i want to!! I have actually been saving but i had an accident with my glasses and iv had to dip into the pennies to buy some new ones
I hate shooting whites, mind, i dont use spot metering as much as i should!
I will say one thing though. The light on her shoulder in 4 takes away from the shot for me. Have you thought about cloning it out?

No, mainly because I never clone and also when viewed with the others in a sequence it'd look wrong as that light appears in various shots.
