Maybe you should look at getting yourself a hotshoe flash Fin? If your going to make this a regular thing it will come in handy especially as a fill flash to get rid of those shadows

I have also been looking at the fuji s5 pro for the wedding stuff! anybody got any thoughts on that!

these were taken with a Nikon D80 and Sigma 70-200 f2.8 Lens except 1 which was taken with my trusty D40 and Nikon 55-200

Finbar you should get cards printed. easy and cheap on vistaprint and start dropping them about.

I think I would be well proud to have produced these shots.

The shadows don't detract for me and I would guess you had them in the partial shadow because it looks like a really sunny day and the dress could have been blown out if in full sun.

Just one little niggle for me. In pic. 2 there is plenty of space above the heads of the couple and young man but the shoes of the young man are actually being clipped by the edge of the image. Pet hate of mine, partially missing feet. Only a minor point and hope you don't mind me pointing it out.
