Blown from the tree

We've a rose tree in the garden and these beauties ended up on the rgound when it was really windy the other day. It would have been rude not to photograph them

Nice series. You can really get a feel for the velvety texture in your shots. Roses are great to experiment with, so make sure you try some different lighting tecniques to avoid those hard shadows

Great pics what a shame they got blown down, I love the velvety texture of them, that really shows up in the pictures

To be honest I'm not too sure about the B&W pic, although very nicely done, they are just way to gorgeous a colour to hide sorry

Cheers everyone for your comments They've opened up some more now and are huge and very scented. I will take some more shots and try some different lighting KK - great suggestion. You're right CLMG - the colour is gorgeous, I was just experimenting cos it was raining and I was bored
