Fed up, everything came out blurred

I'm so annoyed with myself, I went for a walk around a place called The Warren, took a few pics, and was really pleased with one in particular, I caught a Squirrel in mid flight from one tree to another, when I checked to see what it was like on the camera it looked fine, but I've just put it on the pc and everything I took is blurred , maybe I should go and get my eyes checked, but I'm not giving up I'm back off out in a few minutes, and I'll get something in focus, however boring it may be

Re: Fed up, everything came out blurred

I'm glad I'm not the only one, but usually I can get a few in focus, but every single one was blurred, some more than others, but not one good one among them, but I was thinking about it this afternoon, and I think it was probably becasue I was in the woods, and some areas were dark, some the sun was streaming through, so I was taking pics either standing in the shade and my subject was in the sun or vice verca, I may be talking out my behind, but I think that may be the reason or I could just say it was the useless camera

Re: Fed up, everything came out blurred

Are they moving? If so you'll need to shoot at faster shutter speeds

Re: Fed up, everything came out blurred

This is why a always zoom in on my shots on camera and also use the histogram. The screens are too small to tell how the shots come out.

Dont forget squirrels are pretty quick so your going to need a high shutter speed!

Re: Fed up, everything came out blurred

I'm still a bit confused on how to get a quicker shutter speed, it was darkish where I was, the squirrel was in mid flight, which is why I'm so annoyed at it being blurred, it's not everyday I'll get the chance of getting a snap like that
