you know how funny some people can be.

but as you said you will not be left alone with them.
You have to be qualifying list of jobs and or circumstances to be on the CRB. A photographer is not one of them. The toddler group would have been wrong to asume you woud or could even have one.

Thanks FB - well we will look into get a cover for the meter then as you have all pointed it out!

Its far from perfect and really, it needs to be alot bigger, but for now, im happy!
CONGRATULATIONS!
When setting up my studio a lot of research suggested that I needed my subject 6 to 8 feet from the background. You are definitely cramped with your space. However, it is not to say you can not succeed with what you have.

As you mentioned in the car crash thread, I am getting a better understanding of why you are wanting to buy the neighbors out...increased shop size as well as increase studio size.

As I live in the US some of the terminology is very new to me. Not sure what the meter box is. Guess it shows how much electric has been used...same as the states only ours is located outdoors. Also, not sure what a crb check is? Not only am I gaining knowledge in photography but living in the UK as well

Congratulations again Kanikula you should be very proud, can't wait to see more of your work from the new studio.

Re: Finished My studio!!!

the meter box is where the electric is read.

and its in the corner of kk studio. [easy to sort that one]

a crb check is a check that the 'CRIMINAL RECORDS BUREAU' to make sure that you have a clean record and not been up to anything that you shouldn't have.

you need then in certain jobs ie school teachers or helpers plus many more

The meter box is where you see those wires - in newer and residential buildings they are usually quite high up and inside a cabinet hidden somewhere - or like you said, outside (esp in new build houses). Guess it's different in Ks studio as it's an old building and a commercial property.

I don't fully understand the CRB thing either, but I think it's to do with people wanting to work with children need some kind of check done to make sure they don't have a criminal history.
