What do you want to improve on?

Whether we're new or old to photography, everyone is always learning new things and developing their skills. Are you happy with where you are at the moment, do you feel as though your progressing and in what areas do you want to excell more in...

For me, I want to improve more with my lighting. Money is a current factor holding me back at the moment. I'm hoping to purchase either a set of ABs or Bowens if I dont get the former. However im having fun experimenting with what I've currently got and feel I'm making progress

Re: What do you want to improve on?

I would like to be more patient

I'm nearly always in a hurry, and so I would like to get a camera with more manual controls on the body - as I would like to start shooting more in manual mode.

I consider myself a beginner, so have a lot to learn... so I would like to improve all aspects of photography really

Re: What do you want to improve on?

In my photography a bit more imagination and the patience to get things right. Also macro is something I am interested in. But generally I would always like to be improving in everything.

In my life I would like to be not so critical of people. Sometimes I say things and straight away regret it, even if thats what I really think.

Also I may type something post it and then wish I didnt.

So my new motto is 'Think before you say or send'

Re: What do you want to improve on?

For me it would have to be everything, though if I had to choose I would like to get better at taking action shots of the dogs.

Re: What do you want to improve on?

I have to say that I'm happy with where I am at the moment.
Does this mean I'm the finished article?
No, lol...not at all! Not by a long shot!
As a beginner, I knew it was going to take some time for me to develop as a photographer.
First thing I had to do, once I had decided to take photography a bit more seriously, was to get myself a half decent new camera kit. I've done this only recently. I also decided to join an online forum, and hopefully gain from all the hints and tips that fellow members wished to share with me. Again...I've done this only recently.

So basically, I think I'm on course, and on the schedule that I gave myself for moving forward.

The only frustrating thing for me is, not having had enough time to get out and about with my camera, whether it's down to work commitments or just having really bad weather when I do get time off

Re: What do you want to improve on?

Everything, havn't attempted portraits -buildings or still life let alone macro. Suppose they are things that havn't really grabbed me yet as I prefer landscapes and wildlife.

Photography has such a wide range of subjects I don't think anyone can be really satisfied with all of them.

Re: What do you want to improve on?

From a technical point of view everything needs improving for me.

It's not just the photograph's themselves but the way I go about taking them. I always feel so rushed. Don't know why as what I like to take (landscapes) haven't really moved much over the last few thousand years. I need to just relax a bit.
