Tip 1 trick if possible is to get the lens close to the wire/mesh fence (if possible) using a finger tip to keep just off it. The barrier then either becomes a blur or invisible.

Tip 2 when editing try and get rid of distractions either by cropping or removing, that draws the attention to the subject matter.

Tip3 Good editing does take time and mistakes can be made, so don't try and edit the whole picture at once. Edit so much then save ,so if in further editing a mistake is made you don't have to start right from the beginning, only back to where it was saved.

The above samples are just a quick effort and by no means perfect, Only done to give a rough idea how editing can improve a picture without over doing it

Done just for Carole
Thanks Bazza

Unfortunately there was a 3 foot fence stopping you getting close to the main fence which is understandable when dealing with polar bears

Might invest in some editing software when I get paid again.

Good stuff

I keep meaning to drop in when we've got snow but I've yet to do so.

I see the Tiger cubs went on show there today.

Definitely worth a visit in the snow to see the polar bears and by that time the tiger cubs will be a lot bigger. I'm gutted I missed them this time round but I can say I saw the mother as a cub, infact the photos might be on here.
