Arabian Stallion

Arabian - With a distinctive head shape and high tail carriage, the Arabian is one of the most easily recognizable horse breeds in the world. It was developed in a desert climate and was prized by the nomadic Bedouin people, often being brought inside the family tent for shelter and protection from theft. I took this close up shot of this beautiful horse at an Arabian event in Arizona, it was nice in colour but conversion to b&w seemed to add more impact. Hope you like it.

Re: Arabian Stallion

I do like this and the conversion but I think the composition would of worked better if the eye was placed at the upper right third which would also allowed the nose and mouth to be in frame.
Still a nice picture though.

Thanks Jonni, yes I understand what you mean, however I was trying to avoid the obvious full head shot and wanted to hone in on the beauty of his eye and forehead, hence no nose and mouth, ie it wasn't cropped. Cheers
