I think these are excellent Jonni - just the sort of photos a kid would be happy to pose for on want on their wall.
You know what you could do, is get the subject/s in the larger mono photo to be doing something that would appeal to kids, like dress them up as Dracula and make them pose so they are creeping up on or about to attack the subject in the lower part of the photo
I reckon kids would love stuff like that - I know I would have (probably cos I'm still a big kid myself!)
