Bobcat Pausing
I'm trying so hard these days to get everything right in the camera. Sometimes, it's just impossible because an animal is on the move in a cluttered area. This means cropping and use of context aware fill to eliminate distracting objects. I think this bobcat portrait was successful.

Yes looks successful , but for improvement , may I suggest more space to the right and a less depth of field , as all you need is the first eye to be sharp .

Very nice Bob - magnificent cat too.
Nothing wrong with it as it is although I do agree that a little more space around and room to the right for the subject to 'look into' would balance the composition. Like you say though it's not always easy due to their surroundings.

There was chain link fence on either side of the cat so I cropped to eliminate it. I could expand the presented canvas and fill it with context aware fill to put more room around the cat but, for now, I'm pleased with it as it is displayed. Thanks for your comments.
