Focus on Imaging

Focus on Imaging show time is comming up in March at the NEC in Birmingham. I shan't be going this year, first time for 5 years as I was dissappointed with last years exhibition. A lot of the stands just wern't there, must be a sign of the times, but for those who have never been before yes it will be worth the visit.

Re: Focus on Imaging

there is a bit more to it than just looking, for example you can talk to those who actually know their products not just shop sales people. products can be bought there but the price reductions are what they use to be. Demonstrations take place all the time which cost nothing to sit in on. The biggest difference from seeing on line is the range of photographic gear all under one roof. Such as studio setups- demos-picture framing- printers from home to top professional makes, in fact you name it and there will be a stand there for it.

Trouble is not as many stands last year and even Canon backed out at the last minute although other stands were selling Canon gear. check out the list of exhibitors on the site.

Re: Focus on Imaging

I'd probably pop along if I lived nearby although I suspect I'd just get annoyed by lots of people.

Phil by mid day you can rub shoulders -arms-legs- everything (well almost everything) with anyone it get that crowded, and more than likely you will. Great thing is you won't get smacked in the face.
