Canon withdraw from 2011 Focus On Imaging

Birmingham NEC is bit far for me but I know some of you have gone in the past...

Anyway - It appears Canon have pulled out.

What an odd decision, guess they have their reasons

Won't affect us though eh Moonie, nudge nudge, being Nikon folks...unless you are still toying with that 5d 2?

Sadly , not, and I am beginning to wish I had bought it believe me Looks like my camera is going to have to go in for another service, Grrrr.

Wasnt canon out anyway up until last year, for the first time?

Don't get it, surely they will of had to have paid in advance?

Suzi, why a service on the D300? Never had any trouble on mine. We have a few at work and no trouble with them either?

Had some auto focus issues, and thought they had been sorted, but not happy with it.


Anyway, back to the topic, reading on forums and the web, lots of people saying it's because their main focus is the pro market, and these sort of shows, they don't make big money on,as most people just want to touch the latest lenses, but no intention of buying.

Think it's odd, they pulled out so close to the actual event.
