I think sometimes we tend to look more at the technical correctness of a photo and overlook the actual picture. Occassionally it doesn't matter if "the" is in he correct place or DOF or whatever, I would say just enjoy the photos in their own right.

Picture number 3 was taken from a place called Glacier Point, which is 3000ft above the valley floor, and at certain times of the year the setting Sun causes Half Dome to go that reddish colour whilst the rest of the valley falls into darkness. It really is a sight to see.
