Nikon D3 (Full Frame) DSLR

I'm sure any folk that pick up magazines will have read this article but it was the 'full frame' thing that stood out for me.

What is full frame ?

In a word ....the sensor is the same size as a 35mm 'frame' so for example a 28mm lens will actually act like a 28mm lens rather than it's middle cropped and angle of view reduced.

Ok the D3 is £3400 so it might mean waiting till the end of the month (kidding) but the 'full frame' thing (I'm sure other than Nikon do it) stood out as a step in the right direction for digital.

Re: Nikon D3 (Full Frame) DSLR

THe Canon 5D is a full frame sensor, but it's not compatible with the ef-s lenses I have, that's why I chose the 40D Phil, so all your lenses you already have wont do for Nikons new cam.

I wish.

In fact quite the opposite.

Got in a muddle (one of many from what I can gather) with the HMRevenue.

Been stung (despite providing our finacial info year after year) for over paid family tax credit so we now owe them.

I'm buggered mate.

We're Ok in simple terms (what's going out is 'less' than what's coming in) but the last two months have hit us so hard, were (short term) stuffed - which is not great for Christmas.
