Re: The effects of Photomatix

Its not a bad edit Nero Especially for your first go - make sure all of your exposures are correct (use bracketing) to prevent the blown out detail that has come out grey. With some more work you'll have a beautiful shot

Changed and saved the exposures +/- 2 stops in lightroom and also did some PP after HDR

Re: The effects of Photomatix

Have you gor photoshop Nero?? If you have take it over there after photomatix and change the mode to LAB and mess with your curves ect and then convert back to RGB. Gives a better scope that way

Re: The effects of Photomatix

I'll have to look into Photomatix.

I've got Adobe Photoshop 7 just now and from what I can gather my options for combining images just now are bracketing and using the multi exposures to create a single image or - taking a single photo and making variations of the single file to use.
Kit 1
Canon 1D Mark 3
Canon EF 17-40mm f/4 L USM
Canon EF 24-105mm f/4 L IS USM
Canon EF 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6 L IS USM
Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 II
Kit 2
1D2 & 40D
