Sods law

I was off work today so I went for a wee tootle around the local area in the hope of getting some landscapes.

This morning was really nice and the sun was low making the shadows ideal.

Anyway, my battery was flat and by the time I'd charged it and done a few other things at home the weather had changed to just being dull and flat.

I drove up over one the hills nearby and parked the car. Apart from a few mins of sunshine it just stayed grey and dull so (although I've not looked at the results) nothing much to show for it.

Having missed numerous buzzards, red squirrels and two stoats (or weasels) some horses took pity on me, showed up and smiled.

After giving up I came home and took Hannah into Perth for her swimming lesson. On the way home (without my camera) we came accross the hill road. Sod's law. The sun was setting and everything I'd hoped to photograph today was lit up with a golden glow.

I think I'll be keeping the camera in the car more often now.

Re: Sods law

That is so annoying, the last time I went out without my camera was when I had to pic my son up from work, and when I turned off the main road and up their driveway there was a Crane in the field, the bird type, obviously an escapee, I'm still kicking myself about that
