Photoshop Expert Required!

Does anyone have excellent photoshop experience they are willing to share?

I need a picture seriously photoshopping, but since I can't even take a digital picture without messing it up, I'm stuck!

The picture would need a building and hedge adding to it, a bit like an artists impression of something, I have architects plans of the building to work from (height, scale, building materials etc)

Willing to pay a small fee or donation to charity of choice for your time

Also don't mind the pics being posted on here as examples etc.

This could be long!

Re: Photoshop Expert Required!

Right, here goes!

We are having some planning permission issues with next door (long story ) and have already objected to the development once, but they have appealed against it. Originally, we sent in photos showing what the area was like, in the hope that the photos would help the council see what next door would be ruining.

I'd like to do an "artists impression" of the area as it would look if the development went ahead. E.g. as if it was already built with the stable block and proposed hedging; to show how enclosed our land would be.

I've got the following photographs (which were ones originally sent to the council) as examples of the area as it currently stands:

I want to be able to add in the back of a stable block to the boundary on the right of the pictures; and a 5-6ft conifer/leylandii type hedge to the boundary adjacent to it (at the top of the photos).

There is a link to the plans here:
Clicky in pdf format, which shows what the stable block and proposed hedge would be like - dimensions etc.

Our house is Edale on the plans...

But since I'm totally out of my depth with anything more than rotating a photo, I'm stuck!

I know it's a big ask, but I'm hoping that one (or more!!) or you talented lot can help!

Re: Photoshop Expert Required!

Goodness thats no easy task IC! You really need a graphics artist to create and render the stable blocks in, and i wouldnt know where to start, that kind of work is well beyond me.

Sorry hun

Re: Photoshop Expert Required!

I know.... we tried asking the council to visit us, rather than sending photos! Apparantly they don't do visits, since we're not the ones putting the permissions in

It was the only thing I could think of in terms of showing them how it would impact us!

Can't blame a gal for trying though!!

Another option is for to draw or even trace the stable blocks onto perspex sheets and overlay them onto the photos??

Re: Photoshop Expert Required!

what do your neighbours say? Just wondering if you could club together to have someone represent you?
How long have you lived there for? How long have your neighbours lived there for - just wondering about the length of time you have enjoyed uninterrupted views - there may be some mileage in that?

Re: Photoshop Expert Required!

have you tried google earth. We are having problems with car parking issues in our strret so I went on google earth and looked up my street so you get an overhead shot of you area quite nice actually, I then put it into photo shop and added basic shapes to it to show how the parking facilities could be improved, don't know if it would work in your situation but worth a try.
