I'm sorry Fogey, I really don't like those edits - the crop is fine, but they are really oversharpened, which is not a look I like at all. Thank you for the input and taking the time to edit them though

That's OK laura. The point I was trying to make was that sometimes a different take on composition, zooming and framing can improve, and sometimes make, a photograph.

Lovely set Zoundz and a good mix too.

I can't really offer anything in the way of crit as I'm not particularly clued up when it comes to macro / insect photography.

I agree with Z the originals are best ,I just hope the fella in number 1 dont suffer from hayfever
