Aargh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

OMG im so cross right now!!

That backdrop and stand i ordered on monday hasnt arrived despite the 24 hour deliver promise. I sent them an email yesterday to be informed that they are NOT in stock (even thhough their website says they are) and they can send a larger 4*6 one instead. I needed to confirm that it would be at no extra cost to me so i called them today.

Iv been on the phone for 45 mins! 30 mins of which i was on hold . The stupid woman kept on telling me over and over again that they will be in Monday, despite me telling her i had need of i for tomorrow. i stated i ordered it on the Monday for a Tuesday arrival in time for a shoot on Friday and if they couldnt guarantee delivery then i wanted to cancel but yet again she came back with " It will be in stock on Monday and will send it out ASAP" ARGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! She didnt even answer my original question! I lost my temper and told them i wanted the refund and that they should correct the details on their webpage. I was then told "oh i will have to clear it with the manager" At which point i said I either had my refund within 48hrs or ill be seeking legal advice and hung up the phone.

Luckily i paid via paypal so if noting happens, hopefully i can claim back through them.

Im shocked at the incompitance of the sales people (who are American!?) and the genuine ignorance of my requests to them She just kept repeating the same dam thing and i still never go my answerto the original q!!

Re: Aargh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If they have promised a 24 hour delivery and you have paid for that, then they have to supply... i am pretty sure they are bound by law for this and therefore you can take legal action if this goes further... does't help your situation of being without a backdrop though .

Good Luck KK hope you get it sorted... go have a nice cuppa then call citizens advice to see where you stand

Re: Aargh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I understand how you feel K, once they get your cash they don't give a toss

Boobah on Dogsey has had the same prob with Sky, they insalled the cables and dish etc over a week ago, but because it's a BT line, Sky has to rent the line from them and they've said she won't be on-line till 5th Dec, outrageous.

Re: Aargh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi K,

Sorry to hear of your problems - sadly typical these days! Can't you get these from camera shops like Jessops? They have online facilities too I believe and are normally quite reliable.

Best of lick,
Nick
