Pentax K100 DSLR
Has anyone seen it ? Asda are doing a deal on them just now 
£349 special offer ! reduced from £400.
It's only 6.1 megapixels though but it's a nice budget camera, I had a fiddle with one today the motor drive in the lens is a bit louder than any lenses I have but it's not a bad buy for a newcomer. 
PS: wish I'd got one instead of the 40D, all my old Pentax lenses would've fitted ONLY KIDDING.

For the price... I would go for the Nikon really, esp with £30 cashback

6.1 MP That's about the same as Kanikula & I use (Nikon D50) - no real difference to 10 MP unless you go bigger than A3 or have serious crop habit.

Now trying to save up to buy a Canon camera. Will never, ever have a Pentax again!

Must say I have used Pentax since the 1960s and have no complaint at all, did check out the Nikon and Cannon when I first changed to a digital but still decided on the Pentax and only after I bought it did I realise all my lens fitted it
