Blimey! doesn't time fly?

Can't believe I joined this forum two years ago and haven't contributed for ages. The forum has a friendly relaxed feel to it, very nice. Going to get my wife to join if possible. I'm hoping to get a Lumix FZ 200 soon. Will let you know how I get on with it. I'm not very good at photography , usually setting
"P" and getting on with it. I sometimes under expose for effect and do a bit of cropping on the computer but I really enjoy getting out with my wife and our cameras to explore a castle or village around the Brecon Beacons. Nice hobby.

Re: Blimey! doesn't time fly?

Hello Richard,I'm hoping to recieve the 200 on Monday or Tuesday. Can't wait! My trusty D60 has gone and I'm feeling lost without it beside my armchair! I just couldn't believe the great results my wife was getting with her FZ 45, the anti shake system must be amazingly good! and that lens.

Re: Blimey! doesn't time fly?

Hi Mick, it was buying a FZ45 that got me hooked on photography. In IS mode you get 32X optical zoom, it is also light and I find the cdd sensor works well in low light. I take it with me when I go for a walk rather to go out and do photography. I cracking camera for those getting into photography on a budget.

My son has just started and loves the FZ200, F2.8 though out the optical range. He has had no training or lessons and is taking some lovely shots on the manual setting.

I hope you really enjoy it. Look forward to seeing some of your shots with it.
