Gulls, Godwits, Jackdaw, Redshank and Curlew

Was rather pleased with these, considering the light and the tiredness and the lack of mojo after spending many hours waiting for the Osprey that didn't show! sooo here are today's offerings

Very nice.

I think I agree with you - number 4 being my favourite although I like number 9 too.

I love jackdaw's and the two Jackdaw shots,are fab, really well captured flying and action shots Laura, but the 2 images of the Jackdaw are brilliant.

Sorry Bob, I'm not a fan of that edit, it looks oversharpened and the white have been blown by increasing the contrast. I can see what you tried to do but I didn't do it myself because of the reasons above. They're not great images, truth was it was poor light and the birds were just too far away, so they're heavy crops and lack detail - I don't think playing about much more in PS would fix it - just make them look falsely sharp etc.
