Agree about the atmospheric feel, love the composition but can comment on anything else and I have don't have the knowledge.

Been having a liggle play with your church, needs a liggle more work done on sky thru trees.

Bazza, think you loose the feel by making the sky blue and also the steeple is half blue in your post too. Like the B & W but think may be more contrast is required.
