First shot is excellent Jack, to make it perfect though, I would tilt the horizon -0.5 degrees. Your second shot is good as well but as Phil said, pity about the noise. Don't you take a tripod with you?

Thanks all - thanks DJ, I will adjust the horizon.
I didnt have a tripod and I grabbed the 2nd pic very quickly as light was fading and I was at ISO 1600. Maybe when I get a new camera I will revisit the same location and try again.

Both shots are very very good JR. I 'd be proud to frame & display either one in my home. You really excel at outdoor scenes like these. I can tell you love your work.
