Actually it's not a lynx but a Caracal. Admittedly they are very similar. The Portland Zoo added 3 kittens and one adult as a new exhibit this year. They're very energetic, reminding me of big house cats.

I have over 35 favorites Ken so it's difficult for me to pick out a favorite as well. I had them all printed as 8"x10" and 8"x12" glossy prints for Christmas this year. I spread them out on tables where I sit with a group of seniors each morning at McDonald's they got to take turns choosing until they were all gone. Most of my friends had them framed or turned into enlarged gallery canvas prints. I have 4 20"x30" gallery canvas prints hanging on my apartment walls along with 4-5 12"x16" versions. I guess when my new D800 arrives I'll easily be able to start making murals. LOL

As is normally the case there's a story connected to each photograph. I have an advantage because I've retired since leaving YOP and have a full membership to the Portland, Oregon Zoo. This allows me to go there every day of the year if I choose to do so. I can pick the best weather days and the best lighting conditions to shoot to my heart's content. There's an indoor viewing area where the public can watch the two lionesses and one male lion through a PlexiGlas wall. The animals are within two inches or you. Closse-ups are fun. What majestic animals they are!
