Hunters at Rest

I took this yesterday as the hunters rested at a village coffee shop for their lunch. I strolled over, had a bit of banter, and asked if I could take their group picture.

LOL They look like a right bunch of characters the man on the right, couldn't look more relaxed if he tried

What had they been hunting?

Re: Hunters at Rest

Really like this one - all the subdued natural colours work really well.

The man on the right looks like a bonfire 'Guy'

Re: Hunters at Rest

thanks - they had been hunting Hares and Partridge but pulled a blank. They have lunch and then go back out - to coin what one of them said ... "To shoot some tourists", or as another retorted, "Anything that moves, is fair game".

Unfortunately an island so small as Cyprus cannot support 80,000 hunters - there is very little left to legitimately shoot.

Re: Hunters at Rest

Very nice full of atmosphere, the soft colours seem so true. Looks a good life to me, luck or no luck, they certainly do not look hungry.
